Who we are

Why you’re reading this
We may have emailed you or your organisation about Oplexis, which captures real spaces in 3D so people can explore them remotely. This notice explains what information we hold, where we got it, why we use it and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- About the organisation: its name, website and address; the kinds of spaces and services it describes on its website; whether it already shows a virtual tour; and its Companies House details (name, number and legal form).
- About people, only where the organisation publishes them for business contact: name, job title, business email address and business phone number, with where and when we found each one.
- Our contact history: which emails we sent and when, and any reply.
- If you reply: your email address and what you tell us.
We don’t collect sensitive information, home addresses or personal social-media accounts. Our emails contain no tracking pixels or click tracking.
Where we got it
The organisation’s own website and Companies House. We also use public directories, maps and search results, but only to find organisations’ names. Facts and email addresses come from the organisation’s own website.
How and why we use it
To judge whether Oplexis is likely to be relevant to the organisation; to write and send one relevant business email; to record replies and respect your choices; and to make sure we don’t approach the same organisation twice. We use software, including AI tools, to help find and summarise public information and to prepare drafts. A person reviews each email before it is sent. We make no decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Our legal basis
Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): our interest in telling organisations about a service that may be relevant to them. We have weighed this against your interests and rights, and we email only incorporated organisations, such as limited companies and LLPs, at business addresses.
Your right to object: you can make us stop at any time
Reply to any of our emails with “no thanks”, or email yamin@oplexis.co.uk. We’ll stop straight away and won’t contact you or your organisation again.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. Service providers process it on our behalf: Google (email, through Google Workspace), Notion (our records), xAI (the Grok AI assistant we use to research public information and prepare drafts) and Cloudflare (website hosting). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK’s approved transfer safeguards in their terms.
How long we keep it
If you don’t reply, we delete your details within 12 months of our first email. If we’re in conversation, we keep them while we’re in contact and for up to 24 months afterwards. If you ask us to stop, we keep only a short do-not-contact record (email address, organisation and date) so that we never contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or restricted, or object to how we use it. It’s free, and we’ll reply within one month. Email yamin@oplexis.co.uk.

If anything changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top, and keep previous versions.
